needs work

It's a little rough to be sure...but I won't try and you write you off as simply putting it out there as a joke. You could still make something along this line work - in fact some of the dissonant elements remind me of my own really (well, really really) early work...

good

especially with the organ parts. could have been a touch more full...I'm nitpicking.

I like it quite a bit...

it's mad man. I like how it's all distorted. I don't think a really clean sounding version would do the idea justice...

really intense feeling here. It just pumps.

Geoplex responds:

Awesome :)
Thats the kind of thing i was thinking as well.
I tried taking away the 'grunge' instrument and a few others, but it just didnt seem to work after that.
Thanx for the reveiw :D

i found the mix of styles quite refreshing

It's like what songs in the Bond games should have been...that's probably the best comparison I can make. The energy is good - the builds could be a tiny bit better. Shows tremendous promise though. I could also imagine a use similar to that of the Bourne series of movies at parts.

it's catchy

The quality of the instruments seems to range from the midi-style brass pad range to a great sounding live guitar tho. I think I would have given it a 10 if all the instruments were around the same quality range...came across as a little garish at parts - still extremely good however. Just not perfect to my ears.

this....this is gold

the playing is great. I mean really really good. The composition is really really slick. Congrats on having that much talent and putting it to use!! Especially at 2:11. Drop-dead gorgeous with the piano my friend. This is a very special piece.

sorohanro responds:

thanx ... thanx a lot
first i read "The composition is really really sick" :)))) then i re-read ...

I have no clue why someone would rate this a zero.

It's not amazing...but it's not a terrible song. Some parts are really quite entertaining. I would rate it a little higher but I think you've got more potential than what you're showing here. Good use of bitcrushing as well. The phasing/panning effects are extraordinarily well executed. Again - saying this is a zero is really a dumb thing to conclude. Good work here.

not half bad

this is really quite good. fresher than a lot of stuff I hear around here that gets raved about...

kickin butt

you've got some mad slow jazz skill brotha. those chords are absolutely perfect. sounds stolen - but I'll just assume that you're actually that good. ; )

Psychopath responds:

k then. I didn't write the song or make it, I was just looking for a supermarket sound and I found a demo on my organ piano that was perfect for the job. I just uploaded for simple convenience to those who cant find anything that sounds like grocery store music. I know I sure as hell had a hard time finding one.

it really turned out nice

A clean and melodic adaptation. I like the ambient use of slayer and how you did the builds. Very good orchestration. It might be a touch long (probably better suited as a 2 and half minute type of song) but otherwise well done.

ganon95 responds:

lol ya it is a little long
