kick butt.

I know I already reviewed the other one. But I'm here to reiterate how incredible it is. This is literally one of my favorite little pieces on here....it so effing classy.

sorohanro responds:

thanx for review and for 10
maby you'll like even better the version with solo ...
i made a contest about soloing on this (this is only the backing track)

flawless. and perfect at the same time.

I mean - if you had mixed this in stereo on a very flattering setup that wasn't distorting all over the place with better fx...it would literally be drop-dead gorgeous...

This is literally better sung than Jacek Laszczkowski. I can't imagine you not winning. Again, an improvement on your vocal quality would seem almost unattainable. I'm sure you can measure it, but I myself could not.

LadyArsenic responds:

-^ ^- Aww, thank you very much for your kind words. But, good sir, as I've stated in a lot of my posts, times is hard. I simply can't afford the equipment that I need in order to make it sound professional. I'm running off a 15-year-old computer that has only 500 megabytes of memory on it, and a $15 microphone. I'm afraid to harshly say, at the time, this is all you get until I can afford better. Thanks for listening!

interesting...

sounds like something my brother would make. just jumps around everywhere.

trashcanman responds:

yep

it takes talent to do something like this...

It's not my favorite song or anything near it. Not my style. I will concede however the tremendous amount of talent/effort it takes to orchestrate something of this caliber and genre.

Ninjkabat responds:

Thanks. I find that a cappella takes more luck than talent to pull off, as so many of my song-making projects end up getting scrapped because they inherently sound like crap. But this was one of the ones that sounded decent, and so I'm glad you thought it successful despite the fact that it's not your normal style of music.

now do you people see??

This is short. It's tiny. It's hardly a "clip". But the potential here outweighs so much other crap being touted as "UTTERLY AWESOME" around this site that it makes me sick. This little tiny thing is worth it's salt. It's needs to become a full song.

Thank you BlazingDragon for not just flipping pretending what you have made kicks ass and actually creating something that means something. There are many people here (and I'll include myself) that have a LONG LONG ways to go that think what they've put out into the world is God's gift to man. At least you don't have to put up such pretense. Thank you.

BlazingDragon responds:

If that's the case, than I've done something right; if there is one thing I can't stand in the world, it is pride. People who go around bragging, raising themselves up to a seemingly godly status get on my nerves more than anyone else.

I don't write music because I want to be famous, or rich, or any such thing. (And I don't know I could even if I did desire to) I write music to express emotions that cannot otherwise be communicated. More powerful than words, art, or any other medium, music has an incredible way of delivering raw emotion in its purest form. I write music to share that.

Thank you for the review. It gives me hope and inspiration. I greatly appreciate it.

so good...

lol at guy below me:
"ok I guess"??! orly? helluva lot better than what I've ever done...judas priest some people are really without a clue.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Meh, everyone is entitled to speak their minds.
Glad you like it, dude.

a little carny sounding (with those pipes)...

but it's still good. needs a little help syncing up all the instruments - but the general feeling to it positive. i enjoyed the guitar especially and lots of the progression...

4/5

therookie responds:

Thanks, means alot to hear the part about the guitar ^^.
Going to rig up something in my apartment so that i can start recording my own tunes

I like it quite a bit...

it's mad man. I like how it's all distorted. I don't think a really clean sounding version would do the idea justice...

really intense feeling here. It just pumps.

Geoplex responds:

Awesome :)
Thats the kind of thing i was thinking as well.
I tried taking away the 'grunge' instrument and a few others, but it just didnt seem to work after that.
Thanx for the reveiw :D

this....this is gold

the playing is great. I mean really really good. The composition is really really slick. Congrats on having that much talent and putting it to use!! Especially at 2:11. Drop-dead gorgeous with the piano my friend. This is a very special piece.

sorohanro responds:

thanx ... thanx a lot
first i read "The composition is really really sick" :)))) then i re-read ...

kickin butt

you've got some mad slow jazz skill brotha. those chords are absolutely perfect. sounds stolen - but I'll just assume that you're actually that good. ; )

Psychopath responds:

k then. I didn't write the song or make it, I was just looking for a supermarket sound and I found a demo on my organ piano that was perfect for the job. I just uploaded for simple convenience to those who cant find anything that sounds like grocery store music. I know I sure as hell had a hard time finding one.
