sweet groove

A little, little bit atonal at parts. Cool flow to it all though. Pretty effective piece I suppose. Some wierdness here and there with how instruments and fx are interacting, but hey - that's how it goes sometimes.

Thesexpixel responds:

thank you so much! yeah now that i think of it, the strings and the flute arent really syncing up at parts for some reason. well anyways, thank you for the constructive criticism. :D

beginning is great

Love the goldeneye feel to the beginning. Oh dang, that's slick. Also REALLY love the intro of the bells. Not so much on the arp though. Awesome ambient feel to everything. Like the way it's heading @ 1:00 a little more now.

Cool arp that comes in @ 1:20ish. I'm enjoying quite a bit on the whole. Superb work I'd say. Not perfect, but I guess that would have to involve screaming metal guitars glitch breaks at one point in every song for it be perfect to me.

ganon95 responds:

hehe thanks, not everyone is gonna think its perfect tho

nice

the harmony is clashing a bit as mentioned. Could be really epic, all mono though for the guitar parts??

I dunno, this could really go somewhere. Need some bang-up mixing help though. Seriously, could be just spectacular. I especially like the tempo change @ 1:07

Jehendos responds:

Jea all mono, getting an audio interface doesnt pay for me cause my guitar and amp are REALY realy cheap.

friggin great

had me from the start on this. something feels like it should be just more "punchy" though. Like, with this song - I just want everything to kick me in the gut and really scream through. The mixing is really quite good, just wish it were a little "more" - like Rob Zombie-ish. Awesome sound all the way through though. I think I like the ending from 2:10 on the best...

digging it

reminds me in a really eerie kind of way of walking into San Jose's tech museum while there are all kinds of sounds going on and then some announcer is in the back-ground talking about the next movie showing at the IMAX or something.

Wierd, but it's almost that exact feeling. Really liking the evolving pad and the drones. Awesome.

this is actually really awesome sounding

Count me impressed. It retains the feel of being so epic at the same time. I really really enjoyed this. Extremely good.

I mean, you could at some point give Hans Zimmer a run for his money... haha

needs some direction...

You may want to start out with few instruments, less delay and give them some space to "breath" and then slowly bring other tracks into the mix to prevent stuff stuff from feeling like it was mashed together.

You may want to check out tracks from a guy named zirconmusic who posts remixes here to get some ideas. A/B this with some of his songs to get an idea about the differences of how everything comes together.

Arcantium responds:

Thanks mate. Didnt realise that the description you enter when uploading doesnt actually show anywhere on this page. Its not the whole thing, just like, a chorus? I dont know how to put it. But thanks for your review! Especially the help with where to go from here.

mind-blown

how the hell did you do this???

amazing. Love the slower less intense parts best though. I dunno, you just work some wonders with that slow deep groove stuff.

REALLY good

Could tell right from the very beginning. Those drums and the feel are epic and just punchy enough with being overbearing on the general way the song gels together.

Great chords, just melodic and chilled out good music. Those breaks are so intense and satisfying. Have to say this is really something else. Damn dude, right @ 1:26 ??! HOLY CRAP. That was literally amazing. I just had to favorite this one. Just wow.

lulwut?

Good work though. I can see what you mean about them warnings though. It has that oddly arrythmic feel to it somehow. Like my heart beat is going to skip a couple times before the song. At about 1:04...there we go, that sounds pretty sweet.

I think the name is...uh... fitting. haha

Nav responds:

:P thanks for the review! :)
