liking the part @ :56

That's where it's at.

I think Quarl's going a bit ballistic about that "drum loop". I think it's fine, if not radically cool.

I kinda wish this little ditty were based more off of the :56 area to the end...I just enjoy that little motif quite a bit. Your chord progressions rock, as always.

Rig responds:

Yeah, I wish I still had that project file :P
Thanks for the review!

really superb recording...

I'm quite taken by just the sheer quality of the mix and all the instrumentation. Nicely done!

Besides that, would love to hear some vocals, that would just make this perfect. Something like the more melodious side of say system-down-style on a possible vocal track I think would be over-the-top awesome.

uh...

It's kinda all over the place. The synth sounds nice, and the beat could be workable. But it feels much too tepid to have the kind of melodic interest that most people look for in a song.

AfflictedNation responds:

well like i say i spent like 10 min on the song just to pass some time....so i'd say it's not bad
thanks for imput.

i can almost see the zombies...

...in space. Srs though - :27 was epic win...HOW HOW HOW??? SO FRIGGIN GOOD!!!

Dude I need the full song of this now. This is so full of epicness (epicity...? I have no idea) or anything that would be the adverb form of that adj.

Yeah, when all those arps came in 30 seconds in, though. Dang. I had to smile. Definitely one of the coolest 30 seconds I've ever spent listening to music. (:30 - 1:00)

Rig responds:

Haha, thanks! This song is strangely addicting to me as well... :O

haha

Print your way through DnB. I think there's a market out there for "industrial" hardstyle printer action. Maybe the movie soon to be released...?

PRINTER 2000: REVENGE OF THE TONER

heck yes

It does sound like a souped up Bomberman theme as someone mentioned. That's awesome, though I also know those days will not return. Really cool progression and smooth chilled feel. It's almost like drinking an actual lemonade it's so awesome.

Rig responds:

Mmmm, lemonade. Now you made me thirsty >:C

i see what you did thar

Not enough cowbell, man - how could you miss it?

Rig responds:

DAMNIT.

so using this...

Your samples kick arse Rig. Nicely done. Totally gonna chop this up.

Rig responds:

Don't hurt it :(

Nice!

Would sound just incredible with on a really decent grand piano and recorded with some high-end stuff (or at least with a better plugin). If you would like PM me with the original midi and I can send you a re-encode with a much better sounding piano multisample set (even a better sounding honky-tonk).

it's pretty bad

But prolly not bad enough! The annoying clicky-ness of the main pad does help, and the end is really atonal so extra points for those. Minus points I mean.

hardtoplease responds:

hmm maybe i tried too hard lol i still feel confident of my victory! (or defeat?? lol)
