YES

F**KING YES.

In so many words. I want the whole song.

woah, TOTALLY didn't expect that!

Holy cow! This is REALLY good!! Definitely very "capcom-ish". Fantastic guitar sounds and synth-work. Loving the drums and progression as well. Fantastic.

Good sound here

Would be awesome if this could be revamped with better sounding samplesets, really this could be gold. Some guitars in the background and some nice vocals and you've got the next Owl City hit single essentially, haha. Seriously though.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still very new to this, mostly I just use the default patches in Reason for the instruments and I can't sing to save my life so just doing what I can at the moment but really glad you enjoyed it and will remember your advise.

LOL - very nice

This is really good stuff. Mixing is really really nice, timbre of guitars is shredding and everything is structured quite well. Perfect for a rocking christmas mix, and haha love the ending! Fantastic.

Fantastic!! I really really like this. Unbelievable there are songs like this just chilling on newgrounds!!!! Without anyone really even knowing about them...!!!

tell me your secrets dude, I need to learn how you did that LOL

Blind-Bane responds:

holla at ya boi and ill explain

not only is this really flipping funny, it's good

Wow, just totally ace on this one. The music is really nice. I was laughing pretty hard at the beginning of the song and then especially when you mixed in the XP startup sound into the music ROFL. hahahaha.

Then the music gets really creative with changing up the xp theme and yea, that's quite nice really. Just wow.

Bas3008 responds:

Thanks!

this is good shiz

flipping chill. lovely sounds and richness abounds. maybe a little more progression could be eeked out of the section around 1:00. Like the vox.

not the biggest fan of the voice but...

everything else is really tremendous. Really well done here. There's tons of background noise, but the sheer performance more than makes up for it. Love the sulking groove here. Cool lyrics, could use a couple changes in timing but that's all I can think of. At points that background/noise/hiss does become overbearing.

Rerecord this with maybe some autotune (subtle) and good mics and some creative mixing and you've got a hit. No joke.

Mischa-head responds:

Yeah those things you pointed out are exactly what bugged me and almost stopped me uploading this but this is really just a rough draft that I wanted to show my friend. Thanks for the feedback.

it's cute and frantic

..but overall lacks a little refinement, kinda like the hooters version of a song. This would be that. The FL Studio voice clips are a nice touch tbh. Not quite as annoying listening all the way as I anticipated.

chillaxing, yet creepy

I like it... beginning is very odd and unsettling. Then comes some really crazy stuff going on, someone it makes actually good musical sense to me though. Not quite sure how that all works together, but it kinda does. Certain drums are a little "stark" but much of it melds really pretty well together to form a rather different and abstract atmosphere. Nicely done.
