it's interesting
some parts seem to just suck you in. The textures are fascinating at parts. Very cool. Introspective almost.
hehe thank you! :D
highly enjoyable
simply well done. There are virtually no negatives. You accomplished what you set out to do with hardly any compromises in song-writing, style, quality, and feeling. Which is what is really important in any song.
nice
great melodic interest here! Really fantastic! Get yourself a better soundcard and some decent sounds and you'd be on your way.
Thanks and...
It is fixed!
you are something else
speechless, I have no words for this. it's amazing.
the song is actually great...
It's just extremely distorted. I feel like the internal amplifier for the video game I'm playing just went to hell and the speakers started to die - like a true authentic gaming experience at the arcade.
wonderful work on the song though! impressive.
Umm, I guess that's a compliment?
Anyways, I've fixed most of the distortion problems, but I'm not posting until it's done. The vocoder's really giving me trouble.
great work here
Wonderful quality stuff. Would be especially nice as a full song. All the individual elements were represented quite cleanly and audibly without being overbearing in the mix.
Thanks for the review! I've been working on my DnB skills lately... hopefully I'll have a full DnB song sometime soon.
this should have been #1
beat out by something with not half the inspiration poured into it...
this is good stuff, I would really like to hear this in a game of smash bros. or something...that would rad!
but that song easily had ten times the effort and production time compared to this one :)
and... maybe you will, in one form or another... ;)
astounding...
...because it just is. perfectly balanced.
too bad you're not using original material.
well...
the only thing that you really did here is "rap" over a song that you didn't make. Granted, it was clever in a sense - but it ends there in terms of originality. The least you could of done would have been to add some of your own parts and fx into the song to give it some variation.
I'm not sure about #1 spot either. I suppose not everything can be "Ultimate Showdown" quality, but they should at least keep me satisfied. A good effort for what it is nonetheless.
It's true, I could have made an original song to go with this, but my audio skills are so horrible I fear it would have HURT this submission more than what I ended up using.
As for the #1 spot, that was not my decision, but the decision of the people who saw it and voted on it before the Weekly 5 and Top 50 were announced, so please don't hold that against me.
In any case, it seems you found SOME things right with it, so thanks for sharing with me!
